Covington's Annual Science Fair (March 15-17)

Registration Due Fri. Mar 5, Volunteers needed.

Attention

5th & 6th graders please turn in your registration slips into the School Office by Friday, March 5th. Tri-fold boards are still on sale in the school office.

Parent volunteers needed to help kids set up their boards on the morning of March 15 (8-8:30 am) and to help take down their boards on the afternoon of March 17 (2:25-3:05 pm). Please contact Ingrid Choong (ichoong2@gmail.com)

During this three-day school-wide event, students will display science projects of their choosing in the Covington Multi. This is a chance for your child(ren) to come up with a hypothesis, design an experiment, analyze data and present results in the form of a tri-fold display board. All students are encouraged to participate in this school-wide event (projects are mandatory for 5th and 6th graders). On the evening of March 16, families are invited to walk through the Multi and see the hard work of all the children.

Please click on the following link to download the Science Fair Packet. Included in the packet is a registration slip to be turned into the school office with your name and grade.

Important dates:
Registrations Due in Main Office: March 5
Science Fair: March 15-17 in Multi
Family Night: March 16, 6-8 pm in Multi
Tri-fold Boards for Sale: Every Wed and Fri in February after school in front of Multi ($3 for white; $5 for color)
