The Covington Howler - March 4th, 2010

Covington School's Weekly Newsletter

From Erin Green, Principal

Dear Covington Parents and Community:

SCIENCE FAIR - Volunteers Still Needed!
The Science Fair is right around the corner and we need you! If you have 30 minutes to spare Monday morning, March 15th, from 8:00 -8:30 am, we would very much appreciate your help in the Multipurpose Room! Students will need assistance setting up science projects and posters. If you are able to help with this, please email Ingrid Choong at ichoong2@gmail.com

Science projects of participating students will be on display March 15th, 16th and 17th, from 8:30-3:00 in the Multipurpose Room. Our Science Fair Family Night is Tuesday, March 16 from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. Many enthusiastic student "scientists" have been working on their experiments and learning about the scientific method in the process.

Students are to bring their science projects to the multipurpose room at 8:10 a.m. on Monday, March 15. Since students will be presenting their projects and sharing with other students, all projects should be left in the Multi until Wednesday, March 17th. Please help your child pick up his/ her project after school on Wednesday. All families are invited to attend the Science Fair Night. A special thanks to our parent volunteer, Ingrid Choong, for her dedication in making our Science Fair a success!
