The 50th Anniversary of the Los Altos School District Junior Olympics

Junior Olympics is a wonderful, spirited tradition in the Los Altos School District. 4th through 6th graders from all seven Los Altos schools gather for a day of fun, food and good spirited competition. The day starts with an opening ceremony. Student athletes proudly parade around the track carrying their school banner and wearing their school t-shirts. Students compete in track and field events throughout the day. Many parents feel it is one of the most memorable activities their child participates in during their elementary school years.

| April 1 Thursday | PE training for Junior Olympic Events |
| April 2 Friday | Junior Olympic Relay Teams posted at Covington- 5pm |
| April 7 Wednesday | Mandatory Permission Slip/Health Form DUE back to classroom Relay Team Contracts due Relay coach training at 6:30pm, MVHS, track and field bleachers. |
| April 8 Thursday | Final Event Selections during PE |
| April 12-16 | Spring Break |
| April 22 Thursday | Final PE training T-shirts and Final Information Packet go home |
| April 23 Friday | Pep Rally in multi 11:30am--GET READY TO HOWL! |
