Interim Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Community,
VOLUNTEER BREAKFAST
As
we come to the end of the school year, the Covington staff would like
to show their thanks and appreciation to the many volunteers who help
make Covington School an extraordinary place for learning. Please join
the staff tomorrow, Friday, May 28th, at 8:00 AM for the Volunteer Breakfast. We will look forward to seeing you in the Multi for coffee and treats!
OPEN HOUSE AND MINI BOOK FAIR
Congratulations
to our students and the Covington staff for a fantastic Open House last
Thursday evening! I was so impressed by the quality of work on display,
the vast number of projects our students have completed this year, and
the wonderful support of the Covington community. Along with the Summer
Reading Kickoff Book Fair that sold over $6,000 worth of books, it was
a perfect evening for all! Our thanks to Suzy Allison and her committee
for organizing the Summer Reading Kickoff and to the Covington staff for making this year a special one for our children!
YOUR PRINCIPAL
Many
have asked about Erin Green and her recent surgery. I am pleased to
report that Erin came through surgery successfully and is now home
recuperating. On Tuesday, Erin called to say, "I'm doing fine and can't
wait to come back to Covington School." Erin expects to return to work
on June 3rd.
Linda Eckols,
Interim Principal

Relay

supportive of our children and schools, it's important that we support
and give back to our larger community in common causes.
