Incoming Kindergarten Play Groups

Early each spring, new students register for the Kindergarten classes starting in the fall. At Covington, a current parent with an incoming Kindergarten student organizes monthly playgroups for the new students and families. The playgroups are held at the Kindergarten play yard and give the children a chance to familiarize themselves with both the playground and potential classmates. New families to the school mingle with returning families, gaining helpful information and insight.
