  • This annual, fun-filled, all inclusive, inter-school track meet celebrating physical education in LASD. Fourth, fifth, and sixth graders from all seven district elementary schools compete in both traditional and nontraditional track and field events. Visit the Junior Olympics website for all the details.

  • The Covington Multicultural Fair is an exploration and celebration of cultures and customs from around the world. Join us for this fun family event! Visit our Multicultural Fair page for details!

  • Covington’s STEM Expo invites students in grades TK-6 to participate! While engaging in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) projects, students will have an opportunity to design hands-on projects while exploring just how fun STEM can be! Click here for more information about this event.

  • Covington holds a number of Spirit Days throughout the year.  The themes for the days are selected by the student council.  In the past we have held pajama day, Disney day, crazy hair day, Hawaiian Day, etc.  These will be announced in the Howler and will be put onto the Covington Calendar as the events are set.

  • Covington School participates in the National "Walk to School Day" each October.  Students meet at designated locations and walk together to school!

  • The walkathon, usually held on a Saturday at the beginning of October, brings the whole school together for a fun-filled day of walking and fundraising.

Visit our Walkathon Event Page for all the details!

  • Sixth graders hold various fundraisers to pay for both a gift for the school and a 6th grade graduation party.
