Covington Elementary School

Covington School in Los Altos, California is one of seven elementary schools in the Los Altos School District. The school is located near the downtown area of the City of Los Altos, just north of Foothill Expressway and east of El Monte Road. Covington School was reopened as an elementary school in 2003 after a major campus renovation.

Covington is comprised of 450 students, including our preschool class. Students from Covington feed into both of our junior high schools, either Blach or Egan, based on their specific address. Covington received the California Distinguished School Award in 2025 and is proud to be an excellent school within the community.
